ADELE: 25 on 60

XL/Columbia Superstar's New Single to Premiere on 60 Minutes

60 Minutes Australia has teased the show's upcoming interview with XL/Columbia's Adele, which includes nearly a minute of her performing new song "When We Were Young." Naturally, it's effortlessly mind-melting and reaches remarkable vocal peaks.

Adele previously told Rolling Stone that the "Elton John-ish" ballad was her favorite on the album. It was the only song from her sessions with Tobias Jesso Jr.—of whom she's a big fan—to actually make it on the album and was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Vampire Weekend, Beyonce, Usher, Sky Ferreira).
