A Beverly Hills fundraiser for Hillary Clinton hosted by Christina Aguilera netted the Democratic frontrunner a cool $1 million this week, according to reports. The event, at which Aguilera manager Irving Azoff and numerous film and TV stars were in attendance, saw the singer perform two of her hits, "Beautiful" and the A Great Big World duet "Say Something."
It's not Clinton's first appearance in connection with a Pop siren; she's also held a rally with Katy Perry and another event with Beyoncé.
Clinton's bevy of pop superstars will undoubtedly boost her standing among millennials, but the presidential hopeful is leaving nothing to chance, and has decided to issue all further policy statements in the form of emojis. In response to reports of Iran-sponsored cyber-attacks, for example, she posted a forceful "frowny face-devil horns-poop-policeman-taco."
