THE SHAKE-UP CONTINUES: JEFFRIES EXITS CUMULUS

The shake-up at Cumulus continues, as longtime exec Jan Jeffries has ankled the company—mere weeks after the management transition that saw the departure of the brothers Dickey and the installation of Mary Berner as CEO of the Atlanta-based media giant. Insiders report that Jeffries was deeply unhappy with his treatment under the new regime.

Jeffries, most recently SVP Corporate Programming and Adult Top 40 and PD of D.C. outlet WRQX, has been at Cumulus for more than 18 years. His long span as a broadcaster has included stints in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Tampa and Mobile; he also ran a consulting business and headed research outfit Stratford.

A replacement has not been announced.
