FOR THE LOVE OF SILVERLAKE

The Silverlake Conservatory of Music's fifth annual benefit will be held this Saturday (10/17). John Legend, Kamasi Washington and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to perform, while artists who have already donated pieces for auction include Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, Thomas Houseago, Ed Ruscha, Urs Fischer, Raymond Pettibon, Kenny Scharf, Retna and Shepard Fairey.

The exclusive dinner gala and auction—for the beloved L.A. nonprofit music institution co-founded by the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea and regularly supported by the band—comes at an exciting time, as they’ve just begun construction on a new facility, which has been a long-term goal.

This will all take place at an "undisclosed Frog Town warehouse," which will house 300 guests. An unconventional mustache and at least two ironic tattoos are required for entry.

Limited individual tickets and tables are still available. Contact [email protected] for more info.
