THE WEEKND'S
BIG WEEKEND

The Weeknd continues to heap even more fire on his indomitable music momentum, providing further evidence that 2015 is the year of XO.

On Saturday just before he performed “The Hills” on Saturday Night Live, the Republic superstar unleashed two incredible remixes featuring two artists who are no doubt overwhelmingly thought of as our world's greatest male and female rap artists alive today—Eminem and Nicki Minaj. Who both killed their verses, of course.

Saturday Night Live was eventful for a few reasons beyond the obvious—in a surprise appearance, Minaj took the stage with Tesfaye on "The Hills" remix, while he caused a stir on social media with some MJ-inspired dance moves for "Can't Feel My Face."

The notorious SNL "Weekend Update" crew couldn't resist poking fun at him either, with a special moment the comedians dubbed as an exclusive "Weeknd Update," awkwardly putting a camera in his face backstage. "What are you doing here?" Abel deadpanned.

As of this morning, "The Hills (Eminem Remix)" sits at #3 on the iTunes singles chart, while Beauty Behind the Madness roars back up to #3 in album sales.
