Today’s the day Sia releases her first new music since 2013’s 1000 Forms of Fear. The track, titled “Alive,” is from her forthcoming album This Is Acting (Monkey Puzzle/RCA). And get this—Sia wrote it with Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr. (the young Vancouver-based writer/artist Adele has championed). Handling the production was Jesse Shatkin, who also co-wrote and co-produced Sia’s massive four-times-Grammy-nominated “Chandelier,” As you’ll see, it’s super-intense and reaches a massive crescendo.
