UMG DIGITAL-MUSIC VETERAN MARKS EXITING

Amanda Marks, UMG’s Head of Global Digital Accounts, will be departing the company. Marks has been in the Universal system for nearly two decades, serving as EVP/GM of Jimmy Iovine and Doug Morris’ early streaming venture Farmclub.com and working for digital division eLabs, among other posts; she moved into her most recent position in 2011.

In an internal memo, Marks described her "decision to see out my next adventure" after "a fun and wild ride."

"When I look back at where we were in 1999," she observed, "I am awed at what we have accomplished together and will be forever grateful for this unbelievable experience."

Marks expressed her gratitude to Lucian Grainge, Hayley Lloyd and the digital accounts team, and the rest of the UMG family.
