Chris Cornell must have done something pretty naughty to get sentenced to hang in the new music video for "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart" (UMe). Watch now and see what tricks he has up his sleeve.
The clip features appearances from Eric Roberts (you may remember him from 1978's King of the Gypsies) and Cornell's adorable nine-year-old son, Christopher, who's got some tousled rock star locks of his very own.
The song has caused quite the storm at radio. It's been #1 Most Added for four consecutive weeks at Active Rock; as the #1 Greatest Gainer, it jumped #20-12 this week. It's also currently #17 at Triple A and being worked at Alternative. As pointed out in Post Toasted, "it’s rare to see a song #1 Most Added at Triple A and Active Rock, while also garnering 10 early adds at Modern Rock."
The rock icon and Soundgarden frontman is set to perform Fallon 9/17—the day before his upcoming solo album, Higher Truth, drops—and Ellen later in the month.
