NEW RELEASES UPDATE: SIX-FIGURE DEATH PUNCH

What first appeared to be a battle for #1 on next week’s HITS Album Sales Chart now looks like a knockout, with the prize going to Jeff Kwatinetz's Prospect Park rock troupe Five Finger Death Punch. (5FDP's triumph will also mark the fourth #1 this year for Mike Harris' Caroline.) The Weeknd, in his second week, will easily remain at the top of our Sales Plus Streaming chart; we’re currently projecting 140-150k on the SPS side.

Meanwhile, there’s still more metal thunder on the chart, as Iron Maiden’s Book of Souls should match or even exceed sales of the band’s previous studio effort, 2010’s Final Frontier, which opened with 63k. Maiden just scored a #1 bow on the U.K. album chart.

Five Finger Death Punch (Prospect Park) 95-105k sales, 100-110K SPS
Travis Scott (Epic) 75-80k, 90-95k
Iron Maiden (BMG Recorded Music) 65-70k, 67-72k
Troye Sivan (Capitol) 45-50k, 50-55k
Scarface (BMG Rights Management) 23-26k, 24-27k
