PANDORA, SPOTIFY'S IOS DOMINANCE

Pandora is the #1 IOS app of all time by revenue, and Spotify is #5, according to a just-released App Annie report cited by RAIN. The report has separate lists for global popularity by download and by revenue, with separate lists for games.

Pandora’s strong performance was credited to its U.S. audience base, where it was among the Top 10 apps by monthly active users by July 2015. Spotify was within the top 50 apps by the same measure in the U.S., but did hit the top 10 in the U.K.

The top downloads list is led by Facebook, followed by Facebook Messenger and YouTube.
