Heeeey, buddy! The results are in and, based on the opinions of an industry participant panel and nationwide listeners, The National Radio Hall of Fame has finalized its official list of 2015 inductees.
They include KGO 810 San Fran's Ronn Owens, KRRL L.A.'s Big Boy (formerly of Power 106), syndication superstar Dave Ramsey, The Bob & Tom Show's Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold, Z100's Elvis Duran and News 95.5 and AM 750 Atlanta's Clark Howard.
Meanwhile, CBS Radio Prexy/CEO Dan Mason and the late Scott Muni—renowned on-air personality for WABC and WNEW—were added for their continued loyalty and contribution to the industry.
Hall of Fame Chairman Kraig T. Kitchin announced, "This highly esteemed 2015 class of inductees represents the hard work, drive and unique talent that makes radio great."
The induction ceremony will take place 11/5 at the Museum of Broadcast and Communications in Downtown Chicago. Tix go on sale 9/21. Go here for more info.
