SUPER TUESDAY—STILL RADIO'S FAVORITE DAY

It was an extraordinary add week at Top 40 radio—which remains a holdout to the new world order—as records by Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis racked up 100+ stations apiece.

Gary Spangler's Team Republic achieved the most Mediabase one-day adds ever—178 stations—on Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams," and Rick Sackheim's Team Def Jam put 165 on the board for "What Do You Mean?" from Justin Bieber (a radical turnaround for an artist whose future once seemed so uncertain), while Peter Gray's Team Warner Bros., who launched "Downtown" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis onto 134 Top 40s. Now that's keepin' it thorough. Congrats to all.
