SYCO'S BROWN TO RUN A&R

SYCO has upped Tyler Brown to the new post of Head of A&R. During his seven years at Simon Cowell and Sonny Takhar's label, Brown (most recently Senior A&R Manager) has worked with One Direction, Labrinth, Susan Boyle and Leona Lewis, among other acts. Takhar, to whom he'll report, praised Brown as "a world class A&R executive." He was presented with a ceremonial plate of scones to commemorate the occasion.
