YOUR NEW RELEASES:
ONE-DAY SALES FORECASTS

The only new release we’re tracking this morning is RCA’s Bullet for My Valentine. After one day of sales, we’re projecting 24-27k for the album, with maybe another 1-2k in tracks and streams. With the dog days of summer sales upon us, that could be enough for a Top 5 debut.

Speaking of next week’s chart, don’t be surprised to see N.W.A’s legendary Straight Outta Compton (Priority) in the discussion to land in the Top 10. The original and expanded versions have been climbing the iTunes charts all week and are currently situated at #5 and #13. This will be the triple-platinum album’s highest-ever chart position, besting its previous peak—at #23 on yesterday’s final HITS Building Album Chart. Straight Outta Compton had never before cracked the Top 30.
