The idea of Ryan Adams recording a full-length cover version of Taylor Swift's 1989 sounds preposterous at first, but it now appears to be truly inspired. We say that because we’ve been playing this snippet from his jangly in-progress version take on Tay Tay’s “Wildest Dreams,” which Ryan has posted on Twitter. NME was the first to notice. "Can't wait too [sic] add Strings," he wrote. "Also has a surprise coda." Adams also revealed that he only has four songs left to record.
