FUTURE SHUTS DOWN STRIP

The response to Future's DS2 album (which scores a #1 retail bow this week) continues to be quite extraordinary, as evidenced this afternoon when the #Futurehive swarmed The Roxy on L.A.'s storied Sunset Strip after getting word via the artist's Twitter that he would be performing a free show there that night. He won't.

As the crowd grew and started to disrupt traffic, the LAPD moved in.

This the last date in a four-city promo run of free shows that already rolled through Atlanta, New York and Chicago before coming here tonight. We'll update when Future reschedules.
