Powerful New Clip Examines Freedom and Oppression Around the Globe

Pharell Williams' video for new single "Freedom," debuting now on Vevo, is earning some serious buzz. The Columbia star's new clip, directed by Paul Hunter, is a visually stunning, sweeping meditation on liberation—from revolutionary uprisings to sweatshop labor, from open plains to fashion runways. Rolling Stone's Daniel Kreps praised the song (which Pharrell premiered at Glastonbury and then on Apple Music) as "powerful" and the video as "mesmerizing." Check it out below.
