As we write this, the brothers Lipman are receiving the UJA Federation of New York’s 2015 Music Visionary Award during the course of a brunch that has undoubtedly involved praise of Republic chief Monte and Prexy/COO Avery’s phenomenal success in discovering and breaking artists; celebration of their philanthropic efforts; and kvelling over some truly righteous smoked whitefish. Kudos—and ethos—to the bros, and pass the bialys.
