TWO LEGENDS, NO WAITING

A&M alumnus Jim Guerinot posted this shot on the Facebook page dedicated to the label. It makes us happy to see these two looking so fit and happy. “Ran into these guys last weekend in Orange County, where Herb & Lani performed an amazing set with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra,” Jim wrote. “Herb gave several shout-outs from the stage for his ‘partner in the audience.’ He spoke of how they were handshake only until the first paperwork they ever signed—in 1990, upon the sale. Great stories about Sam Cooke, Sergio Mendes, TJB. Phenomenally entertaining evening.”
