There's also some related programming worth checking out. Cody Alan, Katie Cook and Allison DeMarcus will reveal the six Video of the Year finalists in a one-hour CMT special airing at 7am—so stop putzing around and turn on the damn TV already! Coverage of the red carpet starts at 7pm.

And in an awards-show first, CMT, Meerkat, Mountain Dew and Florida Georgia Line for a livestream of the Republic Nashville duo’s performance of “Anything Goes” from the vantage point of the front row of the arena.

Meerkat users can watch the performance live—and subsequently on-demand—in a custom-designed Mountain Dew-skinned player. The livestream will be available only on Meerkat, but a video link of the performance will be viewable for the next seven days. The footage will be distributed via Mtn Dew’s social handle and promoted from CMT’s social handles. Meerkat is accessible via the Meerkat app and a Meerkat URL that can be found on CMT’s Twitter and Facebook pages, as well as the Mtn Dew Twitter page tonight only. Got that.
