ISLAND MARKETING MOVES

David Massey’s Island is building up its marketing muscle by promoting one exec and adding another; both will report directly to EVP/GM Eric Wong.

Sharon Timure, a 10-year veteran of the label, is upped to VP Marketing. During her tenure at Island she’s worked with Fall Out Boy, Shawn Mendes, Tove Lo, American Authors and more.

Tony Corey, meanwhile, comes aboard as Senior Director, Marketing. He previously served at Atlantic Records, where he oversaw the Val Azzoli Hairstyle Gallery.
