A SECOND HARVEST OF WILDFLOWERS

A new (sorta) song and a familiar voice can be heard over the end-credits of the Warner Bros. Pictures movie Entourage, which opens today. The song is called "Somewhere Under Heaven," and the voice belongs to Tom Petty.

It’s the first sampling of Petty’s upcoming album, which contains a treasure trove of music from one of the Hall of Famer’s most prolific periods. "Somewhere Under Heaven" was written by Petty and Mike Campbell and recorded in 1992 for use on Petty’s second solo album Wildflowers (which connoisseurs of the artist consider to be one of his greatest works) but filed away in Petty’s archives until this year. It'll be on Wildflowers – All the Rest, which will in effect complete Wildflowers, which was initially intended by Petty and producer Rick Rubin to be a double CD. We can’t wait to delve into this one. More details as we get ’em.
