GOIN' UP THE COUNTRY
Two major Country hits have begun their crossover to Pop radio, something we haven’t seen in a dog’s age. Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” (MCA Nashville) and Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” (Capitol Nashville) are both making major waves at Hot AC radio, with Top 40 plans waiting in the wings. Steve Barnett’s Capitol team is on Hunt’s smash, and John Janick’s Interscope squad is on the controversial LBT mega-hit. Both L.A. labels are totally committed to bringing home these worthy records.
