ALABAMA TO MEET DAKOTA

ATO’s Alabama Shakes will hit Saturday Night Live on 2/28, with Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson hosting. The performance will be a key component in the setup of the band’s sophomore album, Sound and Color, now on pre-order. The eagerly anticipated LP was produced by L.A. whiz kid Blake Mills (a gifted artist and guitarist in his own right), and the shivery groove of lead single/instant-grat offering “Don’t Wanna Fight” strongly suggests that the Shakes picked the right dude as their studio collaborator on this all-important project.
