KRIM TO MARTY’S CLUBHOUSE

Well-Respected Exec to Join Sony/ATV as Co-President

Inside sources confirm that Rick Krim will be joining Marty Bandier’s Sony/ATV Music Publishing as Co-President. He succeeds Jody Gerson (who departed the pubco to run UMPG) in the West Coast post and will make a dynamic team with red-hot East Coast Co-President Danny Strick.

The well-respected Krim, who possesses one of the most expansive Rolodexes in the biz, went to Republic Records last year as EVP Artist Development; his departure from the label is said to be entirely amicable. Prior to that appointment, he served as programming guru at VH1 for 13 years.

As part of acclimating to the Sony/ATV culture, Krim will play every hole at Pinehurst this year while smoking a Cohiba. In lieu of donations, Mr. Krim would gladly accept Titleist Pro-V1s.
