More Leaks From the Bible's Power 100

Leaks from inside the industry bible about this year’s Power 100 list, due to be unveiled on Thursday night, are causing much consternation among staffers.

Could the latest leaks, on top of coverage that has alienated so many players in the biz, represent a tipping point for the once-mighty trade? With the bible’s brand so severely degraded, could yet another overhaul be in the works?

People inside the publication are saying the top three spots will go to Jimmy Iovine (#10 last year) and Dr. Dre; Lucian Grainge (#2 last year); and Irving Azoff (#7 last year); with the following, in no particular order, being considered for the Top 10 (their positions on last year’s list are noted in parentheses): Michael Rapino (#4), Doug Morris (#6), Marty Bandier (#5), Len Blavatnik (#8), Coran Capshaw (#3), Taylor Swift (not ranked), Bob Pittman (#11), Rob Light (#9), Guy Oseary (#38) and Eddy Cue and Robert Kondrk (#12).

The list-keepers are said to be under particular pressure to find a key spot for Capshaw.

Bible staff are still said to be frantically working the phones to ensure turnout for the list’s unveiling at its annual event on Thursday night at Bouchon.
