Island Heartthrob Seizes #1 Spot at iTunes

You already know that the Super Bowl pushed Katy Perry—whose catalog was priced at $5.99 through Wednesday—up the iTunes chart, along with co-star Missy Elliott. But the #1 album since Sunday night is the newly available preorder for Shawn Mendes’ 4/28 release Handwritten, on Island. Meanwhile, Mendes' "A Little Too Much" has breached the iTunes singles Top 10, and three others are now int he Top 20. Given the roar of football-related noise this weekend, that's quite a score.
