The Grammys pre-show—the annual afternoon session during which the vast majority of megaphones are handed out—has a new lease on life. The Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony, as the afternoon session will hereafter be called, will be streamed live on 2/8 from 12:30-3:30 PT at Grammy.com/live and CBS.com. The ceremony, which will take place at the Nokia Theatre, will be hosted by Hunter Hayes and will include performances Angie Fisher, Cheyenne Jackson & Alexandra Silber, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ana Tijoux and an all-star jazz quartet featuring Nathan East, Robert Glasper, Billy Hart and Joe Lovano. About 70 categories will be covered during the course of the three-hour ceremony, which will be viewable on demand at Grammy.com as video for 30 days afterward.
