The SAG Awards were held at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. last night; Birdman took home the top honors, winning for cast in a motion picture. Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones won for their leading roles in The Theory of Everything, along with Julianne Moore for Still Alice; supporting actor trophies went to Patricia Arquette for Boyhood and J.K. Simmons for Whiplash.
In the television acting categories, Downton Abbey won best ensemble cast in drama and Orange Is The New Black won both comedy ensemble and lead performance for Uzo Aduba. Kevin Spacey picked up best acting performance in a drama for his second season as Frank Underwood in House of Cards, Viola Davis and William H. Macy won best acting performance honors for drama, comedy respectively.
SAG winners are often a harbinger of who gets the gold at the Oscars, so you have until the Academy Awards telecast on Feb 22nd to place your bets.
