"We Are the World" backlash

WE ARE THE (OLD) WORLD: While everyone agrees raising money for Haiti is a noble cause, people believe the idea to redo “We Are the World” was a non-starter saddled with a poor execution. Jay-Z, for one, has been outspoken about the use of the song, claiming it exploits Michael Jackson’s legacy (see 2/17 item below).
