CANDYLAND: Universal Music Distribution made it official this morning, formally announcing what we told you yesterday—that Candace Berry has moved over from her longtime sales post at IGA to become UMD’s EVP of Sales and Marketing. "We are fortunate to have someone of Candace's caliber and credibility stepping into this new and expanded role at UMD," noted EVP/GM Amanda Marks, who made the announcement along with UMGD topper Jim Urie. "Her extensive experience, incredible work ethic and keen insights make her an ideal fit for this key position." Said Berry: "While it was not an easy decision to move on from IGA, I am truly grateful to Jim and Amanda for this exciting opportunity.
