Runaways Album

RUNAWAY SUCCESS: Atlantic Records will release the The Runaways—Music from the Motion Picture digitally on March 16 and physically a week later. The biopic premieres March 18 at SXSW at Austin’s Paramount Theater. The album, produced by George Drakoulias, features Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie singing Runaways songs “Cherry Bomb” and “California Justice,” with Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett. The soundtrack also includes songs by the Runaways themselves (“Hollywood,” “You Drive Me Wild”), David Bowie (“Rebel Rebel”), MC5 (“It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World”), Suzi Quatro (“The Wild One”), Sex Pistols (“Pretty Vacant”), the Stooges (“I Wanna Be Your Dog”) and Jett (“Don’t Abuse Me”).
