Pearl Jam on Tour

READY TO SPREAD THE JAM: Before heading off to Europe for dates in June, Pearl Jam will augment its support of its indie gold album, Backspacer, with a tour in the Midwest and East coast beginning in early May and finishing up with a two-nighter at N.Y.’s Madison Square Garden on May 20 and 21. The band will perform on SNL this week on March 13. The jaunt starts May 1 at New Orleans Jazz Festival. The band’s Euro tour kicks off June 22 in Dublin and ends in Oeiras, Portugal. A fanclub only presale for the new American dates will begin on March 15 via the band's website, and the public on-sales will be on March 19 and 20. (3/11p)
