EMI Chart Success

CHART ATTACK: With its future hanging in the balance, EMI Music continues to put up points, placing two in the Top Five on today's HITS album sales chart, as Gorillaz' Plastic Beach debuts at #2 and Capitol Nashville's Lady Antebellum holds strong at #3, both logging more than 100k in sales. That success comes after TV exec Charles Allen replaced Elio Leoni-Sceti as Chairman last week, while a June deadline now looms for Terra Firma to repay its $190 million loan to Citigroup, with both Warner Music Group and private equity firm KKR reportedly circling overhead.
