CD Baby, RightsFlow Get It On

IT’S A DEAL: CD Baby and manufacturing partner Disc Makers have adopted RightsFlow’s Limelight, a one-stop online clearance form for artists and labels looking to clear cover songs for physical releases, digital downloads and ringtones, cutting through the confusion of licensing with domestic and international publishers and songwriters directly. CD Baby and Disc Makers will provide direct linkage and integration of the service within their user platform. The deal was announced by RightsFlow’s Scott Sellwood and CDBaby parent Audio/Video Labs President/CEO Tony van Veen, who marked the occasion by canceling their Billboard subscription. (3/23a)
