New Hirings at BMI, Razor & Tie, Jive

YOUR MORNING LADDER: BMI ups Richard Conlon to SVP Corporate Strategy, Communications & New Media from his former role of VP New Media and Strategic Development. In addition, CFO Bruce Esworthy adds new duties as SVP Finance & Administration, overseeing Human Resources and Facilities in addition to managing the Finance & Accounting departments. Michael O’Neill is now SVP Repertoire & Licensing, with oversight of the org’s Writer/Publisher Relations, Performing Rights and Special Projects to his former role of SVP Licensing. All will report to Del Bryant. The realignment follows the retirements of EVP/COO John Cody and Digital Services Managing Director Robert Barone at the end of this year. In other hiring news, Jason Consoli has been named Razor & Tie’s new Sr. Director Media & Artist Relations from former posts at MuseBox and TVT Records, while veteran PR exec Gihan Salem is now Sr. Director Publicity for JIVE Label Group in L.A. after previously serving in a similar capacity at Elektra.
