Shania gets TV series

WITH NEW MAN, SHE FEELS LIKE A WOMAN AGAIN: No word about Shania Twain’s next record, but the 44-year-old singer will be back in the spotlight (date TBD) as the star of Why Not? With Shania Twain, an hour-long series premiering on the Oprah's OWN. "The show will follow [Twain] as she begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures," reads a release. This won't be Twain's first foray in front of the camera since her marriage to Mutt Lange fell apart in May 2008 over his relationship with her then-friend—and employee—Marie-Anne Thiébaud, People.com helpfully reminds us. She’s posted several videos on her site, chronicling her world travels, fun times with son Eja, 8, and a blossoming romance with Swiss-born beau Frédéric, who happens to be Thiébaud's ex-husband.
