Dark Night of Soul Comes Out

SOUL SEES LIGHT OF DAY: Dark Night of the Soul, the album created by Danger Mouse and the late Sparklehorse singer/songwriter Mark Linkous in collaboration with filmmaker David Lynch, will come out July 13 in the U.S. on EMI’s Capitol Records. The project was previously available only as a limited edition art book with a blank CDR to download the music from the Internet, along with an audio-visual gallery opening last year. The album is dedicated to Vic Chesnutt, who also passed away recently, and appears on the disc with The Flaming Lips, Julian Casablancas, Suzanne Vega, James Mercer, Nina Persson, Black Francis, Iggy Pop and Lynch.
