Wengert upped at UMe

DOWN ON THE BOULEVARD: UMe has upped Steve Wengert to SVP Sales, the label’s GM/EVP Mike Davis announced. The new gig puts the Santa Monica-based Wengert in charge of all aspects of physical and digital sales for UMe and Verve Music Group. Said Davis: “Steve is a well-rounded executive who has done an outstanding job managing the dynamic digital, mobile and physical music market place. Steve is a great asset to UMe, and this promotion is well deserved.” Wengert was VP of the department and before that worked in sales at IGA and UMGD. (5/21a)
