Give the Gift of Repetition

THEY GAVE AT THE OFFICE: NARM and the RIAA have launched a revival of the “Give the Gift of Music” campaign with a brand-new logo. The campaign debuted almost 30 years ago as a way to educate consumers on how music can convey personal expression, thoughtfulness and consideration when given as a gift. The new logo was chosen by an expert judging panel that included members of NARM and RIAA, as well as marketing and design specialists from outside of the industry with the winner WEA’s Richard Jennings. Guess “Give the Gift of Digital Downloads” just didn’t have the same ring to it. (6/9p)
