Columbia Plays Ball

CRACK OUT THE BEER: Columbia Records’ Third Annual Softball Game takes place tomorrow (6/18) at Central Park’s Hecksher Ballfields, with eight separate squads in the mix, including Team Columbia (Ashley Newton), Columbia Red (Greg Linn), Columbia Blue (Scott Greer), Promotion (Lee Leipsner), Epic (Adam Granite), Roc Nation (Jay Brown), Legacy (Adam Block) and Sales & Distribution (Steve Kennedy). Last year, Linn’s Columbia Red team won (pictured below). Last night, the staff was treated to a performance by Roc Nation/Columbia’s J. Cole at the 40/40 Club, while tonight everyone will gather at the Brooklyn Bowl for a show headlined by John Legend and the Roots. After the games tomorrow, Band of Horses will do an AOL Pop Up Show at Grand Central terminal. Winning team gets to take the weekend off. (6/17p)
