Vevo Launching iPhone App

VEVO APP: Vevo is reportedly set to launch its own iPhone app. Chief Rio Caraeff confirmed the company is preparing one for next month, followed by versions for Android and iPad as well. The app will include a “Carousel” rotation feature, as well as sections that feature the most-watched and buzzed-about vids. Vevo is also planning to spotlight regional artists by targeting local viewers, in another attempt at incorporating musical discovery. (6/28a)
