RANDY’S DANDY: Randy Malinoff is appointed VP Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce for Universal Music Group Distribution, where he'll create all those annoying late-night TV spots. Malinoff reports to SVP Marketing & Product Development Mitch Rotter, overseeing all direct-to-consumer online sales initiatives. He will provide strategic support to UMG labels in launching artist-based direct-to-consumer stores and offers. Malinoff was Co-Founder of That’s It Media Group, VP Digital Marketing for Universal Studios Home Entertainment and EVP/GM for Ktel Online.
