Linkin Park MySpace Promotion

LINKIN PARKS AT MYSPACE: Linkin Park and MySpace are planning a series of promotions around the band’s upcoming album, A Thousand Suns, on Machine Shop Recordings/ WB, which hits retail Sept. 14. The first single, “The Catalyst,” which goes to radio Aug. 2, will also be featured on the band’s MySpace Music profile here. Starting today, the band and MySpace are teaming up for “Linkin Park, Featuring You,” giving fans an opportunity to create their own song using audio stems from the single provided on the site. A winner will be chosen by Linkin Park and their submission will either be included on the band's new album or they will be invited to perform with the band on a song on the upcoming record.
