EMI Taps Jonsin

EMI DANDY WITH JIM: Put another feather in the cap of EMI Music Publishing’s Big Jon Platt, who extends the company’s co-publishing agreement with Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Jim Jonsin. Jonsin’s hits include co-writes on Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” (which earned Jonsin his Grammy for Best Rap Song) and T.I.’s “Whatever You Like..” He also produced three tracks on Beyonce’s Grammy winner I Am… Sasha Fierce album, co-writing the hit “Sweet Dreams.” The Miami Beach-based writer/producer is was also honored by BMI with its Creative Inspiration Producer Award. He has also worked with Kid Cudi, Kelly Rowland, Cypress Hill, Jennifer Lopez, Eminem and Nelly, among others. (7/14p)
