LiLo writing songs in clink

JAILBIRD TO SONGBIRD: With a bit of time on her hands, Lindsay Lohan has decided to put it to good use, “feverishly” writing songs for the long-awaited follow-up to her 2005 album A Little More Personal (Raw), PopEater revealed. "Lindsay is going to spend her time in jail writing new songs that she will record the second she gets out," said a source “very close” to Lohan. "Her emotions are so raw at the moment the material will be her best ever." And here’s the payoff line: "It will definitely get nominated for a Grammy."You may record that Lindsay first sang on the soundtracks to some of her early films, including Freaky Friday, but she upped the ante with the anti-paparazzi rant “Rumors,” off of her platinum-selling debut album, 2004's Speak. A year later, by that time fully transformed into LiLo, she scored her biggest hit with “Confessions of a Broken Heart,” inspired by her dysfunctional home life, co-written with Kara DioGuardi. What we wanna know is, does Tommy Mottola get the right of first refusal on the album? (7/22a)
