KOL album title, street date

KNOCKED OFF: Speaking of really good bands, as we do immediately below, the Kings of Leon’s fifth full-length (on RCA) now has a title—Come Around Sundown—and a release date: Oct. 19 (a day after the U.K. release). It’s the first KOL record to be cut in New York, but the production team of mentor Angelo Petraglia and engineer Jacquire King continues from 2008’s Only by the Night, which sold north of 6 million units worldwide and picked up four Grammys. The band began work on the LP in February, having taken their first-ever extended break after coming off the road last October. Their summer shed tour (now known as the “pigeon shit tour”) warps up Sept. 23. (8/4a)
