Floyd LPs disappear from digi-tailers

UMMA GUMMING UP THE WORKS: In other EMI news, a number of Pink Floyd's classic albums have been pulled from digital retailers following the June 30 expiration of the distribution deal between the band and its longtime label, the bible’s Ed Christman reported. According to sources, band management has been trying to lock down new deal but that EMI is asking for too much money. The group’s early catalog—from The Piper at the Gates of Dawn through Dark Side of the Moon—is still available, as are CD versions of the later albums, because EMI has the right to sell off its existing stock.
