Fantasia VH1 Behind the Music

FANTASIA ON THE RECORD: With Fantasia’s new album performing better than expected at retail (see below), coming off the heels of her well-publicized suicide attempt, VH1’s special episode of Behind the Music tonight, which premieres at 9 p.m., should be of special interest. The former American Idol winner will address her issues with low self-esteem, a traumatic rape at 14, an unexpected pregnancy at 17, an abusive relationship with a former boyfriend, facing bankruptcy, dealing with a shocking illness and most recently being rushed to the hospital due to an overdose of aspirin and a sleeping aid.
