MySpace Goes Downtown

MYSPACE GOES DOWNTOWN: MySpace Records and Josh Deutsch’s Downtown Music have entered into a distribution and artist development relationship that will enable MySpace Records to tap into Downtown's resources, while Downtown will leverage MySpace's data-rich platform to source new talent. Interscope Records will remain the upstream partner for MySpace Records, including artists such as Kate Voegele, Christina Milian and Mickey Avalon. Former Warner/ Chappell Music Publishing and Columbia Records exec David Andreone will be the new GM of MySpace Records, whose roster includes Meiko and Disco Curtis. (9/21p)
